Our Mentors are life long learners who continue to hone their craft, explore new programs, and try new methods to keep meaningful and fresh for your Sloyder.
Each Mentor comes to Sloyd & Croft with advanced education and training and completes additional personal training each year in a variety of topics.
Our Mentors are active in their field serving the community in business, religious outreach, and participating in local community service from New Brunfels down to Castroville.
Every Mentor is actively engaged in the local church and community through additional vocation opportunities and public service.
Our Mentors are subject matter experts and skilled at their craft. Whether it hard skills, or soft skills; a passion since childhood or an interest discovered later in life. Every Mentor has spent years learning and perfecting their craft and are passionate about what they do.
Our Mentors are constantly trying something new, sometimes by choice but often by necessity. Demonstrating persistence, failing forward with grace and the resilience to get back up. Every Mentor has a story to share as he models the innovators spirit we encourage in our learners, to them and to the world.
Our Mentor's genuinely care about the next generation and their future, and believe everyone has a divine calling and a unique journey to travel. Every Mentor has traveled a different educational path to get here, from formal to informal, which includes: private, public, home school, DoDEA (Military Base Education) and attended foreign education system.
We get it. We tried it. We have experienced all of these learning systems and we developed a system where parents can engage with their own child and reach their educational goals for work and life.
