Our Goats No Longer Social Distance...and Neither Do We!

Things are just dirtier out here so we encourage hand-washing ALL the time -after digging in the dirt, staining or painting your work, or handling the critters. So please wash up, and wash up often!

Our classes and workshops have always been small due to the nature of the work. Plus it allows plenty of one-on-one time to get to know you better. Please spread out, it's just safer with tools! 

We make a lot of sawdust, plus out here there are lots of trees and fur to boot! While masks are a safety staple to protect the lungs and health of novice and expert woodworkers, they are OPTIONAL for reducing allergen exposure from being outdoors & COVID. Lightweight face shields are also available.

Eye and face protection from dust and flying particles is a priority in the shop. Various face shields and safety goggles are available for use while in the shop, and on the grounds.

Cleaners & disinfecting wipes are available for you to clean your space and equipment throughout your stay.  

Our workshops and courses are often outdoors, on covered porches or decks, or in our well-ventilated barn determined by the project, the class composition, the weather and if there is any COVID risk.

Spreading out gives you a comfortable workspace, and reduces injuries, catfights, and the transmission of COVID.  We are happy to serve guests who are still more comfortable with the extra space. Our paths, workspaces, and seating are conducive to social distancing while still allowing active participation as part of the group.

We shoot first and ask questions later. Ok-This last one, we didn't do before COVID - that would just be weird. But for now, temperature checks and COVID questionnaires are done each time you come onto the property-Just to keep us all safe.

Sunshine and well-ventilated workspaces are just part of the benefits of being in the country.
